Can't You Just Clean My Teeth?

Cavities and Gum Disease affect people second only to the common cold! Brushing and Flossing may not be enough. Brushing your teeth cleans the surface and prevents cavities. Gum disease starts in between teeth. Gingivitis is a bacterial infection of the gums that is reversible. Periodontal disease is is a serious infection.

Many health concerns are now linked to gum disease. Including; heart disease, stroke, diabetes and other degenerative disease that are life threatening. It's not just your teeth anymore!
Our professional efforts will not work alone. Periodontal health depends on a team effort. This requires in-office therapy and the use of Rota-Dent every day to remove the plaque and bacteria at home, followed by in-office peridontal maintenance 4 times a year. Failure to continue with the maintenance after therapy will allow the condition to reoccur or even worsen. We cannot cure gum disease, but we can help you maintain your periodontal condition in a state of health.
